Winds of Change (A New Start)

Riseshadow sat in camp, the two days after Wonderstar had died had actually been accompanied with good things, many cats were pleased and actually felt secure in the fact that EveningClan cats were joining them. Everyone seemed so glad that the whole, we were doomed thing is over.

A deep purred rumbled from beside Riseshadow, she turned to see her mate, Quickpad, he had come to the clan with Cloudspinner's kits Mudkit and Petalkit a few days after the attack, Leafstar had welcomed him openly, knowing that he was on their side. Mudkit and Petalkit seemed  happy with all the new cats, and their mother was over-joyed to have them back, but still had heart-breaks every time she looked at them, saying that they reminded her too much of Bumblestep. But she had Eagleheart now, she was sure.

"Everything seems wonderful."Quickpad purred, Flowheart had just come back from the Moon Tree after being accepted by StarClan and had chosen Morningpaw to go with her as the medicine cat apprentice. Everything in the camp was blissful!

"All cats old enough to catch their own prey join for a clan meeting beneath High Branch!" Leafstar's voice called high and soothingly, no more was it deeply troubled. "First before EveningClan gets here I want to welcome Brokenclaw to us as a warrior!" She nodded to the tom cat who was sitting alone. "All of you must know by now that Morningpaw has been chosen as the medicine cat apprentice, and Flow has become Flowheart our medicine cat!" Sh called everyone cheering happily. "Then we have Mudkit and Petalkit joining, they are Cloudspinner's kits! May we thank StarClan that they are alive and well!" She yowled. her eyes dancing.

"When are EveningClan getting here?!" Cloudspinner called, she was recently restored to her former self, happy and kind. She was great friends with the medicine cat now, it made Riseshadow happy. Next to her Quickpad tensed, he didn't care for EveningClan, but secretly Riseshadow thought that he thought she was going to find someone that she liked more there. That would never happen!

"They should be here very soon actually!" She purred happily, she was very pleased with herself about the entire thing that her and Jaychaser had worked out. "That is all! Clan dismissed!" She yowled and the clan dissipated. Everyone still purring happily. Even the air was hopping and happy, it was warm for once!

It was about noon when the scents of EveningClan drifted through the clan. Everyone turned to the entrance as the first two padded through the entrance. One was a grey tom with piercing golden eyes and white paws and white flashed chest, the other a stunningly beautiful ginger tabby she-cat with green eyes that danced in the sunlight. Almost every tom fell to their knees when they saw the ginger tabby, she simply purred and her ears flushed a bit. They were followed by more, some warriors some kits and queens, there was even an elder! This was wonderful! She gazed at the toms, they were much more muscular than the ones here! Build for stalking through the night and stuff, as Quickpad followed her gaze he pressed to her, bristling. She licked his cheek lightly. 


"You don't see me getting jealous over the she-cats that you are drooling over!" She hissed at him. 


"But the only she-cat who any toms ever drool over here is you, or Cloudspinner." He chuckled lightly at her. 


"Yeah, now I have to worry about her!" She motioned to the stunning she-cat. 


Quickpad responded by licking her cheek lovingly. His eyes full of warmth and kindness that filled Riseshadow with love. 


"Cats of EveningClan and ForestClan!" Leafstar called, and who Riseshadow guessed to be Jaychaser. "This is a great day in our clans history! We will merge and be strong, with the largest territory that anyone has ever seen!" She howled. "We will grow and stay strong together, make family ties, and make best friends." She called out happily. 


"We will now be known as ForestClan!" This time Jaychaser spoke, loudly and clearly, his voice was like a whip that snapped through the cool air. "Our clans strengths will mingle, making us great!" He called. "But some of you toms may want to watch your oogling over Applesplash, she may just claw your eyes out." He chuckled loudly and set some tensions to rest, all attention turned to the small ginger tabby who just giggled.


"It's true." She shrugged with the cutest little smile. 


"Finally I am changing deputy! Since Lionsound is one of our own, and we are making compromnises here, the head warrior of EveningClan, Honeyblaze, will be our new deputy! StarClan has already told me that this is the right path for us!" She yowled, but all the ForestClan cats howled angrily. "That is all! Everyone meet someone knew and share! Please! Clan dismissed!" Leafstar leaped down and joined the rest of the cats.
