Leafstar leaped branch to brach, her long legs leaping up gracefully. Frost tipped her fur, making her glow. Sadness hung in her green eyes, like pools of despair. Frozenpaw, Ripplepaw, Tigerpaw, Sleetpaw, Mossypaw, and Berrysun had all disappeared. She wasn't sure weather all f them were dead, but she was sure that Berrysun was. She ahd been found with a slit throat and short grey hairs in her claws. She had been attacked, and either her kits had run away from what had attacked her or they had also been killed.
"All cats old enough to catch their own prey join for a clan meeting beneath High Branch!" Leafstar yowled. Sadness hung in the air, Berrysun's body was lying in the clearing, everyone looked at the former queen with sorrow and wonder of how she died. "As many of you may know, Berrysun has been murdered and her five kits are no where to be found." She shook her head, many in the clearing cried, but Leafstar's eyes remained dry, her heart didn't even break at the news that she had to deliver. This is what happened when you are so distant from the clan, you stop caring.
"We will step up patrols, and everyone will be on the look out for Frozenpaw, Ripplepaw, Tigerpaw, Sleetpaw, and Mossypaw. That is all-" She was cut off by a screech from Dizzysong, an ear splitting, blood curtailing screech of horror.
"Berrysun was murdered by one of our own!" She yowled loudly. Her eyes dark slits of anger. "I can prove it!" She holwed, her eyes narrowed on Viperpaw.
"What?!" Leafstar screeched loudly, the clan looked still in shock at Dizzysong.
"That only scent on her is that of our own, she was inside our territory, and her claws were barely out. They would be fully extended if it was an enemy that killed her." She looked around at the shocked clan. "And in her claws, is short grey fur..." She trailed off as the clan looked at Viperpaw.
"I didn't kill her!" Viperpaw yowled at Dizzysong, her eyes wide, scared, and defiant. "Why would I?!" She howled.
"Why did you attack your brother the other day? That makes no sense either!" She growled and the clan narrowed their eyes at Viperpaw, growled rippled from the clan.
"ENOUGH! It seems that their may be a murderer in our midst." She narrowed her eyes at Viperpaw. "And she will be dealt with as soon as StarClan speaks. Until then she will be under constant guard, never let out of our sight. And she will be very deeply punished for her deed." She narrowed her eyes, deep growled rippled from the clan. Everyone looked at the apprentice with hatred.
"Applesplash and Swiftrain will be the first to guard her." She growled. "That is all! Clan dismissed." She leaped down and stalked to the body of the fallen queen.

Willowpaw looked at Peakpaw. "How horrible!" she hissed. "I can't believe she would murder a queen!"

She padded to Berrysun and sniffed the fur in her claws. Her blood ran cold. She blinked at the fur, it couldn't be...She shook her head, and took a step back. She felt as i she were going to faint.

Swiftrain looked down sadly, and padded over to Viperpaw.

Honeyblaze bowed her head in silence, and stalked over to the queen. She murmured things to the dead queen, and can't even begin to think about all the lives that were lost.

Wolfstorm padded over to Leafstar. "Who would do such a thing?"

Shadowfrost sat in the clearing, doubt in his mind. Who would kill kits and a queen?

Foxclaw padded up to Goldenfurze, and let her lean onto him. "Are you alright?" He asked, concerned.

Brokenkit's eyes were wide. The apprentices that got killed weren't much older than himself. His ears flattened to his head.

Pinekit sat beside his brother and sister. He looked at his parents, and smiled lightly, but the smile wiped off his face when he looked at Berrysun. He couldn't begin to imagine if he lost his mother, and his other siblings. Plus Foxclaw

He curled his tail around his mate, protectively.

"I trusted her! I was the only one who trusted her!" She blinked at Wolfstorm.

Shr buried her face in his fur. "Y-y-y-yes." She smiled, fakely. She rested her head on his chest.

She pressed other brother, Pinekit. She was shaking badly. Her ore brother, Shatteredkit was sitting alone.

He blinked at Berrysun. He was grieving, he barely even felt sad. All he was thinking about was where her kits went.

Acornwing padded to Shadowfrost to sit by him."Hi," She purred quietly with a smile."Seems pretty crazy huh?"
Honeyblaze relaxed her muscles when Bluejay came. Before she was tensing. She leaned into him and licked his cheek.

"What if it wasn't her?" He meowed, a bit stern. Though he didn't trust her that much, it could of been another cat?

Shadowfrost nodded in agreement, "Many deaths" he lightly smiled.

Foxclaw sighed, and looked down at her. He licked her ear.

Pinekit leaned into his sister, why was she shaking so much? Pinekit didn't really know Berrysun, nor her kids.

Acornwing scooted a little closer, making sure she was unnoticeable."Yeah." She responded and looked at the ground.
"Are you alright?" He meowed, concern flooding through his voice.

He purred happily.

"I dont know what else to think Wolfstorm." She shook her head and padded into her den, secretly hoping he would follow.

She relaxed that he believed her.

"Death Is so ugly" She muttered.

Honeyblaze looked at Bluejay, her eyes seemed to sparkle with her tears. She shook her head, and they dropped to the ground. She sighed.

Wolfstorm blinked, and looked at Leafstar. His paws itched for him to follow Leafstar into her den. He slowly started to pad forward, then went into a trot. He stood by the entrance of her den, peeking in. "Leafstar, may I come in?"

"I know" Pinekit looked into his sisters eyes. He was still a bit confused at why Shatteredkits were also purple, and Pinekit's were dark blue.

Acornwing looked up, her face a little brighter."Oh, no nothings wrong." She smiled faintly like a wisp of light in a storm."Well, except for the killings."

He wrapped his tail around her and laid his chin on her head and licked her forehead.

Honeyblaze purred softly from all of his comfort.

Wolfstorm smiled lightly and padded in. He looked at her and meowed, "Tell me whats bothering you". He sat down close to her.

She blinked at him. "I can't even keep my clan mates safe." She shook her head

Wolfstorm cocked his head to one side. "You saved the clan. When Wonderstar.. passed... you were elected leader because you are meant to be leader. You have saved many cats also" Wolfstorm looked at Leafstar.

She looked at Wolfstorm. "Thanks but I'm just very stressed." and lonely She thought.

Acornwings ears pricked up quickly."Really?" She said, trying not to get too excited since there was the last time.
"Is there any way how I could help?" Wolfstorm offered quickly. His gaze looked hopeful.

"Like more than any friend" He corrected himself, sitting taller.

She smiled lightly. "Your my only friend." She smiled and nudged him affectionately. "Thanks."

Wolfstorm smiled, "Your welcome" and he nudged her back. He really wanted to tell her how he felt for her. Maybe it would be a good time now?

She felt herself flush a bit, she really liked him, but she was sure he didn't feel the same way. So instead of just telling him she laid her head on his shoulder.

Acornwing purred with delight, but softly."Really?" She stammered again. It was all she could choke out, and she felt completely ridiculous."I, like you too. But I think you know that...." She smiled sheepishly, her ears turning bright red under her fur.
A deep purr rumbled in his chest and he smiled, Finally! He itched though to lick her ear or cheek... he really wanted to be her mate.

"Yes, I knew that" Shadowfrost smiled lightly to Acornwing.

"Enjoying yourself there Wolfstorm?" She asked and stifled a giggle.

"I am" Wolfstorm smiled. His eyes seemed to spark. He looked at her eyes, and blinked.

Acornwing laughed lightly. She truly hoped that he would ask the question she was hoping for.
She touched her nose t his cheek and she closed her eyes for a moment. "I really like you."

Shadowfrost slowly placed his paw on Acornwing's, his huge paw seemed to cover her's. "Acornwing" he began, and looked into her eyes. "Would you like to be my mate?"

"Y-You do??" Wolfstorm couldn't believe his ears! "I really like you too" He meowed, extremly happily.

Acornwing felt her heart burst.Does he mean it? Does he really mean it?! Acornwing purred uncontrollably."Yes, oh yes!" She purred and nuzzled into his cheek.
She licked his nose lightly. "Would you be my mate?" She purred softly.

"Knew it." She purred from behind Acornwing and Shadowfrost. Her eyes glittering.

She stood in the darkest corner of the clan, her eyes glittering with a strong emotion.

Shadowfrost instantly twined tails with her, and sighed with relief.

"Would I? I would LOVE to!" He meowed and licked her cheek. His gaze was lovingly.

Shadowfrost looked behind him, and he felt his ears get hot. Hiddenmist was a great friend to him, as his gaze showed her.

Acornwing turned around and smiled at Hiddenmist."Your very kind," She stated a little awkwardly, and leaned against Shadowfrost.
She purred. "I have things that I should probably do..." She blinked.

She laughed her golden laugh. "You two are perfect together."She purred.

"Or if you want I could make a hunting patrol?" He cocked his head to one side. It would be helpful for Leafstar.

"Thanks" Shadowfrost meowed. He dipped his head to Hiddenmist.

Acornwing looked at the ground shyly."Thank you." She smiled at the praise.
She smiled widely. "Of coarse." She flicked her ear.

"No I must speak with Viperpaw." She shook her head.

Shadowfrost could only smile at the other warrior, then at his mate.

"Oh, okay" Wolfstorm nodded.

"You can leave if you want. It may be best if you leave so I may speak with her alone." She sighed sadly, maybe she shouldn't be alone in her dem with someone who may be a murderer, but Viperpaw trusted her right?

"Okay I will go get Viperpaw" He meowed, and padded out, but then he turned around. "Be careful" he meowed with concern.
He then trotted over to the apprentice. "Leafstar wants to see you in your den".

"You believe me don't you?" She blinked, she looked really upset. Her golden and pale silver flecked eyes.
-Viperpaw
"I do Viperpaw, but Leafstar still needs to talk to you. I do not know, but you will be fine" Wolfstorm meowed, and lightly smiled to the apprentice. This was the nicest he has ever been to Viperpaw, and he felt half guilty for being a mean cat to her.

"Thank you." She brushed his shoulder and padded to the leaders den. Angry cats growling with fury after her.

He stepped in front of his sister. His eyes narrowed. "Just admit you did it Viperpaw." He growled.

"I didn't!" She shook her head at her brother. Her eyes teary.

"We all know that you did! Just admit it! No one else would have!" He growled.
-Peakpaw
She felt her heart crack. No one did believe her, but StarClan would have to know! StarClan would know that she was innocent! She could leave this place and never come back to those who have hurt her so bad. "Fine, I did it." She spoke defiantly. Her eyes were cold and hard as ice.

Wolfstorm dashed up to Viperpaw, and shot a glance at Peakpaw. "But you didn't" He whispered to her. His eyes seemed to glow with concern, why was Viperpaw making a lie about herself?

She looked at Wolfstorm. "Yes I did." She said, her voice shaking, she was holding back tears. She just wanted to leave, and find out who really did it. Then she would be back, and everything would be right again. But for now, she would go into exile, and live solitary so no one could hurt her agian until she could find a way to make sure that they would accept her and love her for once.

Wolfstorm sighed, "please go into Leafstar's den, she is waiting for you". He shot a glance at Peakpaw, and looked back at Viperpaw.

She padded into Leafstars den. Her eyes cold and sad. "I need to leave. I will find out who did this, and I will be back." She spoke with defiance. "I want to know who framed me and then I will come back. But until then, just let the clam think it was me." She shook her head.

She sighed. "I know you didn't do it bu I don't think that the clan will believe me." She thought for a moment. "You will be back won't you?" she asked lightly.

She nodded. "I just need to know who did this, I will spend as long as it takes and then I will be back. And I will be accepted then. " She spoke very confidently.

"Very well Viperpaw. If you EVER need anything just wait on the border at sunset. I will miss you." She sighed and blinked.

Wolfstorm stood in the camp clearing, and sighed. He shook his head, many deaths. He couldn't believe that Viperpaw killed Berrysun, or it was a cat that got her framed. He sat down and looked into the forest. He inhaled, then slowly exhaled.
