Leafsun stared at the ruined camp. IronClan had long since left, but the clearing was coated in frozen blood and the stench of the rival warriors clung to the air, the combined scents and sights made her sick. Many cats were either dead or missing, but what she couldn't figure out was why Nightstar had told her warriors to retreat, it made no tactical sense!
"Leafsun. We know who is dead now.." Rubysoul's grim voice meowed from behind Leafsun.
"Who?" She turned around swiftly hoping that it would be a short list.
"Pitchedvoice, Greyfur, Ravenflight, and Mousejump are all dead. Oakpaw, Blazepaw, and Silverpaw are all pretty cut up. Thundertrace and Deepheart will never be able to preform warrior duties again.Wonderstar, Cloudspinner and Tigerkit are all missing." She sighed, her sister was lost. She could hear Berrysun's wailing from the nursery.
"Bumblestep left us for Nightstar and IronClan. He is not one of us anymore." A ragged and pain filled voice sounded from behind them both. They both turned to see Cloudspinner, only it wasn't the perfect and beautiful Cloudspinner that they all know. She was blood streaked, her back was twisted at an odd angle, blood stains formed at the sides of her mouth, and her eyes were dark clouded and dangerous looking. She looked ready to kill. One her other side was Freezestone, who had just set her lightly on the ground.
"Cloudspinner, are the kits...?" Rubysoul's soft voice filled with sorrow. Cloudspinner shook her head weakly, her kits were dead. "And Bumblestep left you in the forest?!" Her voice became shrill and in raged. Cloudspinner nodded, tears threatened to over take the broken she-cat.
"We won't last a moon until we get ourselves in order!" Leafsun called to the clan with authority. "Vividpaw and Morningpaw will attend to every cat who needs it! I want Blizzardsight to take two cats out hunting with him, that is all we can afford. Please take APPRENTICES!" She nodded to the blind tom.
"Yes Leafsun." He nodded, his blind green eyes looking no where.
"Hiddenpaw and Risepaw, you will help the queens with their kits, let them all get some rest." She nodded to the two she-cats they were more than capable.
"We will do our best Leafsun." They ran off to the nursery.
"Pitchedvoice, Greyfur, Ravenflight, and Mousejump are all dead. But we don't have to luxury right now to morn them." She blinked back tears. "We will have to wait for that."
"They didn't deserve this!" Someone cried from the crowd. It was followed by sobbing.
"Bumblestep has left us to be with IronClan, also Wonderstar and Tigerkit are missing! We will try as hard as we can to find them but for now we must take care of ourselves." She blinked sadly. "Cloudspinner, Thundertrace,a and Deepheart need immediate medical attention. Either Vividpaw or Morningpaw need to watch over them, the other can look over the rest of the cats."
"Yes Leafsun." the to she-cats nodded.
"Everyone make yourselves useful and find something for you to do! That is all! Clan dismissed!" She yowled for everyone to disassemble.
"Eagleheart, you will be the temporary deputy, got it?" She blinked at the handsome tom.
"Yes ma'm." He flashed her the crooked smile that made her heart flutter nervously. "When will we look for Wonderstar and Tigerkit...?" He blinked.
"As soon as we can afford to. For now this is all we can do, fight to stay alive and strong." She flicked her tail and padded off to the leaders den so she could think.

Blizzardsight then rounded up Winspaw and Flashpaw to hunt."Let's go." He called, pinpointing the exit with his smell.
He looked up. He looked at Lionpaw who only sighed, they had been helping Cloudspinner but he was fine to go. He trotted over to Blizzardsight.

She saw Bumblestep. "Bumblestep! Did they hurt you?!" She ran over to her deputy, worried for him.

She growled fiercely. "Your not allowed to talk to IronClan cats! You worthless fox-dung!" She growled again.

"Y-y-y-your one of them...?" She blinked at Bumblestep.

Flashpaw nodded and followed
Ashpaw sighed at the number of cats that Forestclan had lost, " I can't belive it." She muttered
Sparrowpaw looked around the clan at the destruction and hung her head sadly. So many cats are dead or missing...

Morningpaw quickly ran to Cloudspinner, to go over all her wounds.
"I got this." He muttered to Morningpaw, he turned back to Cloudspinner who was pretty much a wreck.

Bumblestep nodded. At first glance you would think he didnt care about Wonderstar or ForestClan anymore, but he flashed Wonderstar a blink that showed he had a plan- and wasnt going to give up.

She recognized his look and put on a face of pure betrayal. "And I thought ForestClan warriors were loyal." She gave him a look of, we seriously need to talk.

She nudged Bumblestep and nuzzled him slightly, she glared at Wonderstar.

Bumblestep hated playing along with Nightstar, but he didnt show it. He understood Wonderstar and sighed. He nuzzled Nightstar back.

She held back a feirce growl. Her news may not bring anything easy onto him. "Nightstar, may I just speak with Bumblestep for a moment, I want him to tell me about how bad I was as a leader." She asked her capture.

"Fine. Not for too long though." She growled and stalked off to the leaders den.
-Nightstar
She stalked over to Quiverbreeze, who was crouched over her kits. "Your kits are weak!" She growled with anger. "Get out! Now!" She screeched at the queen. She took Marshkit and Rosekit from Quiverbreeze. Snowkit cried out and Nightstar quickly slahsed at the young she-kit.
-Nightstar
"No!" She cried and curled around Snowkit, Dappledkit and Berrykit. She tried to get Rosekit and Marshkit but Nightstar stalked off with them, and without another word. Quiverbreeze looked around frantically. She grabbed her remaining kits and streaked off into the forest, trying to get them to ForestClan to keep them safe from Nightstar.

"What are you doing here?!" She growled at Quiverbreeze who had just burst into the ForestClan camp with her three she-kits.

"Please don't hurt me!" She coward away. "I ran away from IronClan to keep my kits safe! I only want help from you!" She cried.

"LEAFSUN! You should be ashamed!" She growled. "You never speak to an emotional queen like that! The poor thing needs love and kindness." She narrowed her eyes.

"Fine. Help her." She hissed and stalked away.

"Come with me. It will all be okay." She promised the ginger tabby.

"T-t-t-thank you." She hurried her kits after the ginger tabby she-cat.

"Settle down in my nest next to Berrysun and her kits. Please." She nudged the she-cat. "I'm Rubysoul."

Bumblestep looked at Wonderstar with apologetic eyes. "What...?"

Swiftpaw watched what happened with the kits, " Wow. Is Ironclan that bad?'' He asked anyone.
Ashpaw started muttering, " Why can't both clans just get a long."
"Because IronClan wants nothing more than bloodshed!" She hissed, everyone knew that!

"Do you want to meet your kits?" She purred lightly to Bumblestep.
-Wonderstar
Ashpaw jumped. And shrunk back. Swiftpaw stepped in front of Ashpaw, " It was only a question!" He said, his eyes slits.
"And I was just answering. We don;t get along. Were enemies. End of story." She blinked, how dare the apprentice snap back at her! She was a senior warrior! She narrowed her eyes angrily.

Morningpaw nodded, then quickly dashed off to gather some herbs."Cobwebs for bleeding, comfrey for bones..." She recited in her head as she ran.
He spoke softly with Cloudspinner trying to calm down the hysterical queen.

"She killed my kits Lionpaw!" She cried out loud.
-Cloudspinner
Morningpaw soon returned with a bundle full of many herbs she handed Lionpaw some cobwebs."Put this on all her bleeding wounds." she told him, then unraveled some comfrey. She chewed it and began to lay it gently along Cloudspinners back.
She flinched away from their touch.
-Cloudspinner
He blinked at Morningpaw. "Your good at this." He purred kindly.

Morningpaw began to feel the same sensation as when Lionpaw had spoken to her in the apprentices den. She quickly shook it off, relieved that everything went back to normal."Thanks." She purred back, then spoke soothingly to Cloudspinner when she flinched."It's okay, I'm going to make you better."

Bumblestep blinked. "My-My kits?"

Flamestone bounded over to Cloudspinner, Lionpaw, and Morningpaw. "I'm here!" he announced. He examined Cloudspinner's wounds. "You put the comfrey and cobwebs on?" he asked Morningpaw.

He padded off to find Quiverbreeze in the nursery.

She curled around her kits protectively.

"Well, do you?" She asked again.
-Wonderstar
Morningpaw nodded."Yes. Lionpaw helped me with the cobwebs though." She smiled to what she hoped would be her mentor.
"Berrysun, I am very sorry about Tigerkit, but these she-kits say that they saw him." He smiled at the queen letting her know that her son was okay.

Berrysun let out a sigh of relief. at least her son was safe.

Since he didn't seem like he wanted to respond, Morningpaw turned back to Cloudspinner. She observed some wounds a little more carefully, then ran to get some Marigold.
"We did!" She purred loudly. "He is fine, not a scratch on him, Splashrunner made sure that no one would touch him!" She smiled happily.

She looked down at her kits, eyes glazed over.

"You thought they were dead didn't you?" She flicked her ears.

Bumblestep nodded. "Thats what everyone told me.."

Berrysun purred at the kit.
~*Berrysun*~
"I wouldn't let her fight if I though kits could get injured." She shook her head, suddenly anger flared in her. "Wait. You THOUGHT your own kits were dead and you weren't upset?!" She nearly screeched at him, horrified. But she kept her voice low enough that no one heard but him.
She shook herself out of her daze. "He is a wonderful kit." She smiled lightly.

Bumblestep blinked. "No! I was shocked and sad! But if I showed that I would of been killed by Nightstar on the spot!"
~*Bumblestep*~
She shoo her head, thinking. "Fine. But I'm still shocked Bumblestep." She knew she would be over come by sadness if she learned of her own kits death. "Let's go so you can meet them." She stalked into the forest, Nightstar un noticing.
Bumblestep blinked, and padded after her.

They padded for a long time before she came to a stop.
-Wonderstar
She growled, emerging from the bushes. "Get away!" She growled at Bumblestep. "Leave Wonderstar alone, filthy IronClan fox-dung!" She hissed and bared her teeth.

Bumblestep growled. "Watch your tounge, I was her deputy once. Still am at heart."
~*Bumblestep*~
She looked at Wonderstar who only nodded at her. "Well you reek of those crow-food eaters." She mumbled. "It's okay little ones, you may come out now." She purred, showing her sweeter side.
"Bumblestep, meet Mudkit and Petalkit." She smiled at the little bundles.
-Wonderstar
Morningpaw galloped back into camp, Marigold sticking out of her mouth. She laid it down carefully, then removed the cobwebs. The blood was seeping through them, so after Morningpaw chewed they herb into pulp and applied it to the wounds, she put on a fresh layer of cobwebs.
Bumblestep gazed down at his kits, and blinked. He looked at Wonderstar, his eyes asking what to do.

She looked back at him, her eyes telling him to greet them.
-Wonderstar
He bounded forward to see the new cat. But then he stopped and sat down a tail length away from Bumblestep.
-Mudkit
Bumblestep smiled at the kits. "Hello."

Petalkit gazed up at the stranger. She smiled. "Hiya!"
~*Petalkit*~
"Does it hurt a lot still?" Morningpaw asked Cloudspinner. She began to groom the she-cats fur to free it of the dirt and thistles. It made her horribly sad, how Nightstar ruthlessly lashed things at the pretty she-cat, and only for the revenge of envy!
He wrinkled his nose for a minute. His eyes protective over his sister who, he thought, was too close to the stranger. "Who are you...?" He asked a bit tentivity.

"I'm fine." She sighed, even though she was pretty sure her back was broken.
-Cloudspinner
"Bumblestep. Thats all for now.."

Petalkit looked at her brother, then back to Bumblestep. "You seem farmiliar.."
~*Petalkit*~
His eyes narrowed. "Petalkit, back up more. If he won't tell us more than his name why should we trust him?" He nearly hissed at his sister.

(His personality is very defensive, protective, and un trusting XD )
Once Morningpaw finished grooming her, she leaned towards her ear."I'm going to tend to other cats now, but you yowl when you need me." She smiled kindly, then padded of to see Oakpaw, Blazepaw, and Silverpaw who were laying together.
She went to stand up, her front legs pushed her up, but her hind legs stayed motionless. She quickly fell to the ground and let out a very loud, and painful cry.

Morningpaw rushed back, calming the she-cat."Don't try and walk yet, your back is broken. I'll make a nest for you in a moment." She said soothingly.
She gritted her teeth. "Fine." She muttered.

Morningpaw padded back to the wounded apprentices with her bundle of herbs.
Petalkit blinked, her brother had a point. With a sigh, she stepped back. "PLEASE tell us who you are!!"

He was close to running off, he still glared at the strange tom. He wrinkled his nose again. "Who ever he is, I'm glad I'm not him! HE REEKS!" He spat.

"Mudkit, no need to be rude." She sooted.

Petalkit glared at her brother and looked at Bumblestep.

Bumblestep sighed. "Im your father."
~*Bumblestep*~
He bit his tongue. "Sorry then." He looked down at his paws sadly, feeling like he is going to get scolded.

Petalkit's eyes widened. "What? No your not!" Tears were forming on the tips of her eyes. She looked at Brook, eyes wide.

She bit back a hiss. "Unfortunately he is Petalkit, and I'm not your mother. Your mother is dead." She sighed, maybe she had said too much.
