Applesplash padded out of the DriftingClan leaders den. Her tail flicking. Her eyes looked on the cats with a new kind of respect, they were travelers. They moved with the seasons and the prey. They were going to be staying in the dense forest until the end of New-Leaf and then they would be moving on again, to the open fields of flowers that is south of the ForestClan camp, it is many sunrises away, and will take a a long time. How they travel so often and go to so many different kinds of territories amazed her, and respect grew in her for them.
"Foxclaw, Trembleglade, and Swiftrain!" She called her patrol who came hurrying over. "Time to go, I will explain everything back in camp." She smiled and darted out of camp with her patrol following her, right on her heels. It was no longer raining but the ground was soaked and her paws made a slushing noise when ever they went down. But her attentions were on getting back to camp to tell everyone about what she had found.
As they padded into camp everyone rushed to greet them. Their eyes bright with happiness as they waited for the news. But Applesplash padded to the leaders den to speak with Leafstar before she would share her news. She needed to talk to her leader anyways. It wouldn't even take long.
"Leafstar?" She asked lightly as she stood outside the den. Her ears pricked.
"Come in!" Leafstar's voice chimed and Applesplash padded in. Leafstar looked great, her pelt shone, her eyes were bright, and there was no sign of stress in the way the leader held herself and looked.
"I met with the new clan, they are called DriftingClan." She spoke calmly. Her eyes danced.
"Well go onto High Branch and tell the clan!" She spoke happily and Applesplash nodded, padding out of the den.
She strode up to High Branch, her eyes bright and her ears pricked. She couldn't wait to share her news. The clan gathered without having to be called, everyone looked exited for the news. "Cats of ForestClan! We have a new neighbor!" She called once everyone had quited. She was met with some angry hisses and some cheers. "They are called DriftingClan, and their leader is Stagstar!" She called out and everyone turned back to her.
"What kind of name is Stagstar?!" Foxrust snapped from the crowd.
"It is the term for a male deer, I heard." She smiled. "And it fits him." She laughed lightly, she had thought the same thing, stag was a strange name.
"Fancy-shmacy names..." Foxrust continued to grumble but slowly faded out.
"DriftingClan is a good clan that we should consider to be our allies." She continued.
"What kind of name is DriftingClan?!" This time Applesplash couldn't see who had shouted but she didn't really mind.
"I am getting to that." She smiled back, her patience was wearing. "DriftingClan is a clan of drifters. They don't stay in the same territory all the time like we do, they move with the seasons and the prey, they are always fed and have seen things that we can only dream of!" She smiled and the clan looked shocked. This was something that was completely unheard of.
"So it's a bunch of rouges who call themselves warriors?" Dizzysong laughed from the crowd and so did everyone else. Their eyes were filled with pleasure. "And here I thought that they could be a threat!" Dizzysong laughed again and everyone was still joining in.
"They are more disciplined than you Dizzysong!" Applesplash snapped at the sleek warrior. They weren't taking this seriously. "They are a good clan that will now be sharing our border." She flicked her tail and her patience was gone. "That is all! Clan dismissed!" She yowled and leaped down a bit peeved.

Wolfstorm trotted over to Leafstar, and licked her cheek. "I wonder how long DriftingClan will stay here"

Shadowfrost sat beside Acornwing, happy.

Foxclaw sat beside his mate, and looked down at their kits. "They're beautiful"

Pinekit meowed to his siblings, "We should do something!"

Acornwing leaned into Shadowfrost. She wondered why the clan thought it was funny. She would try to treat this clan with respect, even though they are strange.
Trembleglade scowled at the clan.They're laughing, but if any one of these single she-cats met Stagstar they would be completely flattered. She hissed to herself. Most she-cats can be mouse-brained, especially herself.
Blizzardsight sat alone at the edge of the clearing, alone. He looked lonely, but he was completely used to it. No one hung around him much since he was blind.
Badgerfrost sat and scraped at the stone.
Morningpaw sat at the medicine cat den."What are they laughing at?" She looked up at her mentor.
She sat with Shatteredkit. They really preferred not to talk to anyone, they weren't exactly social. And no one seemed to mind.

He padded out of the den, flanked by Cricketpaw and Petalpaw. He had the biggest smile on his face.

She sat in the corner with her littermates and parents.
-Hiddenmist (With Rubysoul, Blackheart, Windsflash, Lionsound, and Riseshadow)
He shrugged. "Applesplash told me that their leader was the male version of her. Looks and all." He laughed.

"What do you want to do?" He asked his brother. He never really cared about playing with the other kits.
-Shatteredkit
She smiled widely. "But Shatteredkit doesn't like to play with anyone and Necturekit doesn't even leave his side!" She shook her head.
-Goldenfurze
"Blizzardsight!" She padded to the tom. "Get the other apprentices and mentors and take them for battle training." She instructed the blind tom. Him, like many others didn't seem to think that they had to train their apprentices. "YOUR apprentices won't learn anything if you never do anything with them!" She snapped.
-Leafstar
Honeyblaze grinned and licked Bluejay's cheek. "Never would of guessed" she joked.

Foxclaw frowned, "Well maybe I could change this Goldenfurze" Foxclaw stood up, and looked down at his kits.

"I don't know what exactly to do" Pinekit mewed. He looked at his siblings.

Brokenkit went straight to the elders den. "Everyone's talking about DriftingClan" he announced. He went up to the elder, he liked him

He laughed.
-Bluejay
"It's cute though. They are close, closer than most siblings." She flicked hr ears.
-Goldenfurze
He shrugged. "I don't like games, even though I would probably win them." He flashed a cocky smile.
-Shatteredkit
She nudged her brother.
-Necturekit
Blizzardsight sighed."Yes Leafstar." He stood up and slumped to the center of the clearing."Mentors! Apprentices! Fierypaw!" Blizzardsight yowled at the top of his lungs."Let's go training! Leafstar's orders!"
They padded over to Blizzardsight.
-Fierypaw, Blossompaw, Acornpaw, Mudpaw, Petalpaw, Cricketpaw, Applesplash, Burstpaw and Peakpaw
"Thats true" Foxclaw sighed, and sat down.

"Lets play hide-and-go-seek!" Pinekit meowed.

Blizzardsight listened to the slightly lighter steps of all the apprentices."Where are your mentors?" He said, looking as if he was distant, but actually extremely focused on everything around him.
