(I have to role play Foxclaw, Swiftrain and Trembleglade for this post, sorry guys. And btw, Stagstar has sort of a British accent, that is why he says 'love' and 'darling' when he talks to others sometimes, and it's part of his charm)
Applesplash ran through the forest. Foxclaw, Swiftrain, and Trembleglade were running beside her, sprinting to the border. Rain pelted from the sky, they were drenched through and through. Her paws beat on the ground, her normally glowing ginger fur was plastered to her sides and was a dark orange-red color, like blood. Her green eyes scanned the forest with every step and breath they took. She could see Trembleglade's anxiety in her eyes. She could see Foxclaw's long claws flicked out, they shimmer with the water, he had a fierce look in his eyes. And finally Swiftrain, his face was unreadable but she was sure that underneath he was just as freaked as everyone else. This new clan could be dangerous, or deadly, without having a second thought about killing them.
"We are at the border!" She howled back, her voice being carried by the wind. But they heard her so she went on. "We are going right to their camp, and slowing, we will be of absolute no threat!" She reminded and kept running, the others fast on her heels. Their eyes gleamed. Te scent of the ocean washed over her, which took her very off guard, they were sunrises away from the ocean, but it wasn't just ocean she smelled. She smelled the wild flowers that only grew on open plains, she smelled the salty sea breeze, she smelled the scent of deep pine forest, and she also smelled the dry and parched and of the desert. It was one of the best things she had ever smelled, it was so enticing that she closed to her eyes and savored it. But it grew stronger and stronger until it was the only thing she could smell, and she realized that they were right outside the new camp that the other clan must have made. She stopped for a moment. Her eyes wide. And she stepped in with her patrol.
"Who are you?" A large tom stepped in front of them and growled, but his eyes softened once they hit Applesplash and his mouth opened to form an O. His eyes glittering. She tilted her head, both to make herself look less threatening and also because this tom looked familiar. She just couldn't place it though.
"I'm a warrior, of ForestClan. We came to investigate what the new strange and alluring scent was that was on our border." She stated, the three warriors she had brought with her bristled at her side, but she flicked her tail for them to relax.
"Alluring, eh?" A slim and well muscled tom cat with ocean-blue eyes strode confidently out of a den. His eyes were flecked and amazing. She smiled at him, he was one of the only toms she had ever looked at with some interest.
"Yes." She said confidently. Her eyes glittered and she used her most innocent and beautiful look. She flashed her perfect smile and flicked her tail, hoping that her looks would get her the answers she wanted.
"You looks ain't going to work on me, love." He flashed a perfect smile of his own and from the corner of her eye Applesplash could see Trembleglade almost purr, but Applesplash held her now stone face. The way he pronounced love was strange, the way he said it came out as 'lave'.
"Who are you and what are you doing here?" She asked boldly. Her eyes were now like emeralds, cold and unfeeling.
"Well, love, I believe that this 'ere is my camp, see?" He looked around his a smile. "And I am the leader." He smiled. His eyes flashed at her with challenge.
"That doesn't answer my question flea-pelt." She snapped finally, the calmness and aura of this tom pricked her skin.
"Stagstar, at your service." He chuckled. "And 'ho are you, love?" He smiled. His who sounded like an oo, but she understood perfectly what he meant, they seemed like they were from far away, the accents that they had.
"Strange name. I'm Applesplash." She flicked her ears, the toms charms were certainly wearing on her. She felt Foxclaw and Swiftrain bristle, the obviously didn't like him as much as her and Trembleglade did. She looked at both the toms for them to calm down.
"Lovely. Not very fitting though." He shook his head and made a
tsk sound. " 'Re more of a Bloodsplash if you ask me" He flicked his ears in the rain.
"I'm wet, when I am dry its more of an apple-ginger-red." She clarified, and shook her pelt.
"Oo's your leader, then?" He asked his eyes flickered.
"Leafstar." She spoke softly. "She wants to know about you." She admitted.
"Follow me then, love." He turned and padded to his den, Applesplash following, her patrol having to stay behind.
